Christopher Robert Evans is an American actor. In 2000, he began his acting career as a character in television shows like Opposite sexual sex. Following appearances in several teens' films, including 2001's Not Another Teen Movie he gained attention for his portrayal of Marvel Comics character the Human Torch in 2005's Fantastic Four and the sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans was featured in a variety of film adaptations of comics and graphic novels such as TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009) as well as Snowpiercer (2013). The film gained him more recognition due to the role he played as Steve Rogers / Captain America in several Marvel Cinematic Universe films namely Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) and Captain America: Civil War as well as the ensemble film The Avengers Age of Ultron (2015) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame (2019). The work he did on the Marvel series made him one of the highest paid actors.
